Welcome to Vuyo's

Big, bold, and rooted in Soweto

Vuyo's began life as a small streetside vending unit, born from the story of a fictional big-dreaming entrepreneur in a beer advertisement — and grew into an upmarket restaurant and events venue on Vilakazi Street, the beating heart of Soweto's food and tourism scene.

Today Vuyo's serves modern African cuisine to locals, tourists tracing the footsteps of Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu, tour groups, and Joburg's corporate crowd — all in one stylish, fully licensed space with an upstairs balcony over the street.
